Extreme Weight Loss

My father, 63 yrs old, has lost over 30 lbs. this year due to excessive diarehha. He cannot keep food in his system. He has tried several different nutrition options and undergone several tests. His colonoscopy was clear and he has tried antacids. Nothing seems to be working & he is continuing to lose weight. He has no energy & is becoming weaker everyday. Along with the colonoscopy, he has had an abdominal scan, upper digestive testing, biopsy of stomach ulcers and had numerous blood work, urine and stool tests. Food options such as toast to pasta to meat, etc. all seem to go right through him. Any suggestions? |
