By Betty from Paris,TN. on October 08, 2006 in Placental Abruption
My daughter is a 18 year old female who is 8 weeks pregnant. She has been diagnosed with placental abruption at 7 weeks pregnant. She does not use drugs, has had a pryor pregnancy which was a molar pregnancy and a dnc was performed at 17 weeks. She was monitered for a year after. She went to the hospital last night and was having adominal pain mainly on the right side. She was bleeding heavly the bleeding lasted for about 1.5 hours then subsided itself. The blood work came back within a normal range so she was sent home. The doctor stated that there was nothing that could be done besides bedrest at this early stage of pregnancy. What is the title to a doctor who specializes in this field? |
