Sperm quality after vasectomy

My husband of 9 months had a vasectomy 7 yrs ago. We have discussed and agreed on reversal. My concerns about reversal is the quality of the sperms after being obstructed for 7 years, and are we more likely to produce chldren with chromosomal disorders. By the way we are both healthy, I am 36 no children and he is 38 with 2 children.
