After nine years of being a care provider for my mother
I finally had to give up through personal worsening
ill health, unfortunately i could not physically cope
any longer. My COPD/emphysema,bronchiecstisis and the
Fibromyalgia had made it impossible to carry on nursing my mother, i had struggled on for nine years.
So i applied for incapacity benefit which i have recieved for three years,i have been turned down for disability benefit, as i could manage to walk 20 yards
with only one stop for breath,( but that was on a good
day ). The problem is with all the reforms to the
incapacity benifit act,if my 20 minute interview or 20 minute medical go badly and they decide i am fit for
work. what do i do ?. Because if that was the case i
would still be my mothers care provider,as giving that
up was the hardest decision of my life, and believe me
it was really hard work. But if my money is stopped
where do i turn to for financial assistance.
I appologise for going on,and would like to say thankyou for taking time out of your day to read this.
Any information any one could provide would be most
appreciated. THANKYOU!!.
