Can you get Blastomycosis twice

My Husband was diagnosed in 1972 with pulmonary blastomycosis. He recovered after lung surgery and treatments with Ambitericin B. My question is can you get it twice?
I recently was diagnosed with Coccidioidomycosis while living in Mesa AZ. Had Surgery and have recuperated. I was told by my Physician that you cannot get this again, and now I am reading and learning that you can get it twice, so I a wondering if Blastomycosis can also be contracted a second time?
We just want to take precautions and be aware of the possibilities should we have symptoms again.
