my cousin has a rare skin disease that he says is known as TRP, it itches and bleeds

I am looking for information on a skin disease that has developed in my cousin and is almost incapacitating for him. He is being treated with Triamcinolone ointment. He states he feels like "bugs are crawling under his skin and he will itch his skin until he is in a pool of blood"??? Please see if you can help send information on this disorder. It is something with Rubra in the middle of the diagnosis. They want to try some type of experimental drug Raptido? But it is about $1500/ shot. Any information on a treatment , cause and prognosis would be greatly appreciated as he is suffering a great deal and doesn't know what else to do or where to turn. Thank you for your time. |
