Can cholosteatoma grow in both ears?

I was born with congenital cholosteatoma in the left ear. I've had five surgeries to remove it and to add prostetics. I am almost completely deaf in that ear. However, my right ear is normal. Is it possible for the cholosteatoma to grow in my right ear even though it's congenital and present in my left ear??
