Laser treatment for acne

My son has severe acne on his face and back. We have tried Accutane, however the result was more devastating- he developed more acne which later turned into keloids. I have heard about Laser Acne treatment and would like to find out some informations about the procedure, the type of Laser being used, the risk and benefit, and the result whether it really works.
