I am the Director of Nursing at a skilled nursing facility.

The facility would like to temporarily convert possibly 10 beds to assisted living to meet the demand in this area. There is no assisted living within a 40 mile radius of the town we are in. Can the facility temporarily use some beds for assisted living or would we have to change our licensure?
