depression returns even while taking Wellbutrin

A couple of months ago I had a major panic attack that made me take myself to the emergancy room at our local hospital. They kept me for 24 hour observation. Hooked me to portable E.K.G. throughout the night. Injected me with radioactive something? Took X-rays. Put me through a stress test. After all that, the Doctors said that I was fine. And that I probably over stimulated my system with the combination of Hydroxycut and Relacore weightloss products. Ok, I stopped taking them and I felt better after that. A few weeks later, I guess I had a relaps and went to my family doctor. Who put me on xanex. I took it for a short while untill it put me into a deep depression. Now I am currently on 300mg of Wellbutrin for last six weeks or so. But now the side effects of periodic anxiety, raised blood pressure, heart pounding has made me to try and cut back on its' use. Which puts me right back into a mild depression. But I try and talk my way though it. I have never been big on taking any kind of medications. Outside of Tylenol or multi vitamines. The whole deal of the panic disorder and or mental health issue of depression worries me to no end for the simple fact that I don't have any knowledge of my personal family medical history. Because I was adopted and no information on medical history was ever available. What to do? But trudge through it! Any ideas? Please help! |
