Flying after varicose veins operation

i am having my varicose viens removed by surgery and would like to know how soon i can fly after surgery. i have several long haul flights in 8 weeks time. to singapore, australia, new zealand and hong kong.i am hoping to have yhe surgery in about 2 weeks.also how long do i have to wear the elastic stockings for.is it advisable to walk and excercise after surgery.i am a hairdresser how long should i stay off work
