Is something wrong with my spinal cord?
By Lisa Persyn from Texas on August 31, 2005 in Spinal Cord Disorders
I am a 42 year old female. I am very busy and active. For the past week, I have had a dull ache in my back. Specifically, the upper back and neck. I don't really notice the pain unless I am sitiing or lying down. I feel it more when I am lying down. Also, I have had two occasions this week where I have had an instant electric shock feeling in my legs. This shock only lasts for seconds, but when it does happen I feel that I have no use of my legs for that second or two. I panick when it happens and I think I may fall down. Today, I began to think that perhaps there is something wrong with my spinal cord. Can you give me any helpful information?
